There is something truly magical about bringing a modern party to a venue steeped in history. Recently, C.A.A. Entertainment had the absolute privilege of providing the evening soundtrack for Eden and Alex’s beautiful wedding reception at the spectacular Merchant Adventurers' Hall in the heart of York.

When you are working in a venue with such incredible 600-year-old timber frames and classic architecture, the evening entertainment needs to complement the room, not clash with it. Here is a look at how we brought the party to life for the new couple.

Directing the Evening.

As the DJ and MC for the night, the goal is always to make sure the evening flows naturally. From introducing the first dance to making the right announcements at exactly the right times, we kept the focus entirely on Eden, Alex, and their guests. The dance floor energy was absolutely brilliant, with a crowd that was ready to celebrate from the first track to the last.
